Dr. Chi earned Ph.D. degree from the top academic institute in China in molecular cytogenetics. After pursue his scientific career at the world leading Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and at Oxford University, UK as postdoctoral researcher. Dr. Chi joined The Center for the Study of Haematological Malignancies (CSHM) as the Head of the Genomics and Bioinformatics Core Laboratory and the Head of Molecular Diagnosis Core Laboratory. Since then he established his team, extended the services of his laboratory. One major achievement is under his leadership his lab passed the ISO 15189 accreditation in year 2015. Dr. Chi has published more than 30 scientific papers and collaborated with world leading institutes and universities, such as the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Chongqing Medical University. These collaborations have been proved very successfully through publication in pioneer journals (eight publications in 2015 and 2016). Dr. Chi has been elected as Editorial Board member for scientific journal such as the “Genes Review” and “Advanced Techniques in Biology & Medicine”. Also, he is an active reviewer for journals such as the “International Blood Research and Reviews, “PLoS ONE” and the “British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research”.
